We really enjoy introducing people to the wonderful world of Fly-Fishing. The first thing you must learn is how to properly and safely utilize your equipment. We provide personal and group lessons regarding the fine "art" of casting and tackle selection.
At Black Jaw Tackle we have made many custom fly rods, have over 25 years of experience and would love to build you a custom rod. We use many types of materials to create custom rods, bamboo, fiberglass, graphite and carbon.
To place a custom order please email us your contact info and details of what you are specifically wanting to have built, then we will schedule a call. Once we have finalized your order we will send you a invoice for the order. We require a 60% deposit with the final 40% due before shipping or during hand delivery of your custom fly rod or package. Once your deposit is received, we will then confirm the order and set a date for delivery.
The price of your fly rod depends upon what you choose for fit and finish. Basic custom rods start at $325. Please let us know what rod length, rod material and rod weight you desire. If you don't know what type of rod you want then we will be happy to guide you in the right direction.
