We really enjoy introducing people to the wonderful world of Fly-Fishing. The first thing you must learn is how to properly and safely utilize your equipment. We provide personal and group private schools and casting lessons regarding the fine "art" of Fly-Fishing. If you are new to the sport a private school is your starting point. If you have prior experience and need to sharpen your skills for an upcoming trip then a casting lesson is a good choice.
We have the capacity and connections to plan a trip anywhere you want to Seize Adventure. We specialize in small to medium size team building events and fun filled family outings. At Black Jaw Tackle we have over 30 years of experience in rod building and have made many custom fly rods. We would love to build you a custom rod. We use many types of materials to create custom rods: bamboo, fiberglass, graphite and carbon.
To place a custom order please email us the details of what you want to have built, then we will schedule a call. Once we have finalized the specifics of your order we will send you an invoice. Once payment is received, we will then confirm the order and set a date for delivery.
The price of your fly rod depends upon what you choose for fit and finish. Basic custom rods start at $325. Please let us know what rod length, rod material and rod weight you desire. If you don't know what type of Fly rod you want then we will be happy to guide you in the right direction.
